The Rodeo

Last night, Mom came into town and we decided to take the boys to the WTC College Rodeo. These are a few pictures we took before we left, because last year I couldn't take my camera in...

I sent them out to the grass to pose and this is how Rett decides to stand...I love that Colt is just looking at him...
So when I get Colt to look, this is how he chooses to stand...

A boy and his dog...what better friends!
Love these boys!

Sunday Bliss

Due to the craziness of stock show season, Lance and Rett had not got to have a "big boy" adventure in awhile. Richard, Lance's teaching partner, has a boat and is an avid bass fisherman. He invited Lance and Rett to go with him to Lake Alan Henry Sunday morning. To say that Rett was excited would be a huge understatement!

Here are a few pictures of their adventure...

Disclosure: no fish were harmed in the making of these shots...they remained safely in the lake unharmed the whole morning! It didn't discourage my fishermen. He can't quit talking about it!

While the big boys were gone, Momma and Colt had breakfast then headed to church. I love my Colter-bug...

Mr. Independent saying "me do it" and pouring out his syrup...he was tired of dipping!
"Mom, must you take pics at the breakfast table!"
My favorite! This grin melts my heart!

So blessed!

Sprinkler fun!

Lance was gone Friday and Saturday to judging meets. When he got back home, we were visiting and the boys were playing outside. (My boys are always outside...we are blessed to live where they can play and I can see them almost anywhere in our house.) Next thing we know, Colt comes in dripping wet. They figured out how to turn on the hose. (We thought this was an impossible task since you have to use plyers...never underestimate the power of will.)

Lance went out and next thing I know this is what I see...

Dad had stripped the boys down and turned the hose on, again!
Dad is so much more fun than 8 month pregnant Momma!
Colt (who is potty-training) had apparently pulled up his underwear himself! I just couldn't resist taking pictures now that he will probably blush at later!

Bear is the newest member of our family. He played for a little bit then decided it was safer for him on the porch.

Kisses from Dad may or may not result in a new game!
One of the things I love most about my husband is his fun-loving side. He takes a situation and makes it fun! I am blessed. The boys should be thankful he came outside instead of momma!

Welcome!

Throughout the last week getting ready for our 3rd baby, I realized how fast time has flown. I have been terrible about documenting my children! I am hoping this changes with the blog.

Britt and Liz started one recently and I have LOVED "seeing" what is going on in their lives! YAY for technology! For the moment, I am inspired and want to capture these moments that I treasure every day!
