Summer Fun and 6 Weeks Old

June has turned out to be a busy one! The first weekend in June was Lance's 10 year high school reunion. The kids and I took in some of the fun and enjoyed some cousin time, too!

Sleeping beauties...sweet cousins, Elliot and Gentry

The kids had a great time playing together.

Here is Gentry ready to meet Dad's classmates! I am obsessed with the shoes!

How has 6 weeks come and gone! Our sweet girl is coming alive and her little personality is starting to come through. She is a sweet little thing and it takes quite a bit to get her upset.  But when she is mad, she is MAD! She is really starting to interact and loves to watch her brothers talk to her which they try to do whether she is sleeping or awake.

I love looking into these eyes! Her eyelashes are really starting to darken and have filled in...

She loves bath time! The blooming bath was a great buy for us! (Thank you, Pinterest!)

How thankful I am for being chosen to be the mother of Rett, Colt and Gentry! I love my job and do not take it for granted. I am blessed and beyond grateful for the moments great and small!

We're moving!

Yes, you read the title right. Those who are close to us probably think that this is becoming a habit of the Wann's. We have lived in four different houses in our six year marriage. You would think with all this moving that I would be organized and without clutter. I wish!

Anyways, let me get back on track. We have been given the opportunity to work at the Pioneer dealership that my family is buying in Dalhart. I will run the office and Lance will run the warehouse and help sell corn/wheat seed and crop insurance. We are thrilled at this opportunity! We will be living 30 miles from Dalhart and 15 miles from Texline...the middle of nowhere.

One of the main reasons, we accepted the position was because of the changes it would make in our family dynamics. The life of an Ag teacher requires lots of time away from family...year round. Lance resigned from teaching because he was tired of being gone from us. Now, our kids are going to be working right there with us. What better way to teach than by example! The Lord is so good and there is so much we want to teach our children about faith, love, and family. We want to show them how to live and love in Him. You might be saying....well, aren't you doing that now? Yes, we feel like we are but when Lance is gone 3-4 days at a time or longer...it is hard. He is an amazing role model for our boys of  a Christian man and now they get to see it!

No matter how exciting the opportunity is, it is hard for us to leave people. We have wonderful friends and family in Snyder and close by. When making the decision, we left out location and strictly looked at the opportunity. Lance and I were reminded that we must cling to one another and make the best decision for our family. We feel like we have done this after much prayer and exploring our options.

Lance is taking a six week taxidermy class that ends July 13th. He is loving it! After the class is over, we will begin work. We will probably not actually be moving until August or even first of September.

The Lord is so faithful and we will go where He leads.
